Posted by The other day I heard a song that said “Desperately I seek You, Desperately I long for Your face, Desperately I seek You.”
This made me question if I am desperately seeking God.
Here in America especially, I feel like Christians don’t desperately seek after God. He’s someone people acknowledge on Sundays or Wednesdays if you’re “super spiritual”. He needs to be more than just some weekend ritual, He wants to be the center of our lives. He deserves to be desperately sought after.
Luke 5:25 is an example of a woman that was desperately seeking God. The woman with the issue of blood knew the power of God and thought that if she just touched Him she’d be healed. You have to picture that there’s a huge crowd of people surrounding Jesus, she had to fight through this crowd to get to God. When she touched Him, she was healed.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
My question for you is: are you desperate for Him?
