Don’t be a worrier…

Posted by

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “They are plans for good and not for disaster, plans to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen. If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me.” -Jeremiah 29:11-13

This verse gives me peace because this means that I don’t have to worry about what my future holds for me. God already knows- He already has all of our days planned out. He works in our favor, to give us a hope and a future. These plans He has for us aren’t of doom, gloom, and destruction but for the best life possible for His children.

Those verses also say that we can pray to God and He will listen, also if we seek Him that He will make Himself known to us. When we are praying and reading the Bible, seeking after God He will show us glimpses of Himself.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:6-7

So, if you’re a natural worrier (like I am) stop it! God has it under control, pray- talk to Him, seek after Him. Once you do that, He will give you that peace that passes all understanding.

My question for you is: Why are you worrying?
