Posted by While there are 50 states in the U.S., I have no idea what’s going on from state to state. I know some of what’s happening in my state (Texas is pretty big and sometimes hard to keep up with) and a few other states that are occupying the national news.
What amazes me is that God knows what’s happening in every single state, town, and community on the face of the earth. Nothing happens without his knowledge or without his eye seeing. He is intimately aware of every event, whether good or bad. He knows every heart-ache, joy, trouble, and worry. He knows the dangerous things and the hopeful things.
I encourage you to engage in a conversation with the Lord about your state today. Bring the specific things about your state to him and pray as the Holy Spirit leads you. God loves the people of your state, let’s intercede for them today!
Today I am praying for:
- My state
- For state officials to have wisdom, discernment, and be filled with the Spirit of God
- For repentance in churches and revival in communities throughout my state
