Posted by This year, I have been more consciously aware of all I have and just how blessed I am. Somehow, I am finding myself feeling grateful more consistently than before. My explanation is that when everything goes off the rails and your trust is shaken, it makes you more appreciative. When you understand just how fragile everything is, you’re more grateful for what you have (even if it’s not perfect).
One of the groups that I am incredibly grateful for is the military. These brave men and women put their lives on the line so that I can enjoy the things that I enjoy. They go into the darkest, the harshest places on earth and sacrifice so much for people they will never meet. Their selflessness is extraordinary.
Today I am praying for:
- Military men and women and their families
- Protection for those currently serving and peace for their families
- Wisdom and discernment for those leading those on the front lines
