Isaiah 6 begins with a very important verse that is going to take us on a bit of a history lesson. Fasten your seat belts, folks! This is going to be a fun ride!
Humility, submission to God, pure hearts, and an understanding of sin are all things that God is calling us to—I pray that we are courageous enough to accept his invitation.
Josiah did the hard heart work of removing the idols in his own life so then he could help destroy the idols of a nation.
May we be a church that is vigilant and ruthless in uprooting the sprigs of idolatry in our lives.
I pray that we would each take some time to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal those areas in our hearts where we have allowed idolatry to fester and grow.
God is uncovering hidden and culturally-approved sins because he wants to purify, heal, and restore his church.
