I was nominated for an award last year and I did nothing with it, so, I wanted to be sure that I responded to this one and followed through… but then I did nothing, yet again. I got caught up with life and let this post sit as a draft for almost 2 months. So, here we go! Better late than never, right?
When things seem bad or you begin to revert back to old behaviors, know that you can make a different choice. Make the decision to change your mind and continue to pursue God.
I hope you are well, great, or even stupendous, but if you’re not, that’s okay too. We’re all works in progress and there’s grace for you here.
I am called righteous, my slate wiped clean by the blood of Jesus, yet I am still enticed by sin and darkness. I am pure and spotless because of the free gift of God, but I still find myself covered in blemishes.
Jesus lived out truth and love to the people around him regardless of where they came from or what they looked like or even what they believed. Let’s strive to be more like Jesus today!
Whether you’re going through a particularly hard or an incredibly good season or anywhere in between, I encourage you to turn to and reach out to him today.
I know my God is faithful in spite of the messiness of life and I can trust him. No matter what life looks like, he is forever faithful.
The entire Bible is a love letter written to his children, yet how often do we forget or overlook the message?

I encourage you to list some of your fears out and then begin to trace them back.
Let’s be a people so in tune with the voice of God that we quicken our pace when he tells us to and we slow down when it’s time to do so. Let’s do our best to move at his pace and not our own.
