Presumptuous Church: Nehemiah 9
I can be presumptuous in what I create, what I write, and what I do. I can live a life of assumption instead of surrender to God.
My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
I can be presumptuous in what I create, what I write, and what I do. I can live a life of assumption instead of surrender to God.
Let’s invite the Holy Spirit in and ask him to reveal those areas where we have drifted or settled for less than his best for us.
I suspect that rest is a lot more vital than we think and could completely change our lives if we were willing to give it a try.
I am reminded that when I praise him regardless of circumstances, he is honored and I am changed.
I wonder how our willingness to do the big and seemingly little things can make a difference in the lives of others around us.
Our God is so good, kind, and loving—let’s go out of our way to express our gratitude for who he is today.
No matter our jobs, our locations, our aspirations, or our callings, we all play an important role.
While living in the past isn’t healthy, I think that remembering where we’ve come from and what God has brought us through is incredibly important.
I believe that great things can happen when we take the passion and emotion from the word of God and funnel it into decisive action.
I believe that our responses to truth reveal a lot about the state of our hearts.
