The questions that we ask ourselves can reveal a lot about what we believe.
This has been an incredibly trying year, and yet I still have this kernel of hope underneath it all because our God is so good.
While we should be excited about God’s promises, let’s think for a few minutes about what these gifts remind us about his character.
Things have been so good lately, but this little thought has been sneaking into my mind: When is it all going to go wrong?
The Bible is filled with commands to not be afraid, but this message is never delivered with condemnation or shame.
If you want to grow in wisdom, as I do, I encourage you to read through Proverbs and James regularly; you might be surprised at what you find!
Lately, I’ve been finding myself bracing for impact, but that’s not how God has called me to live.
Paul didn’t muster up contentment out of the blue, instead, he learned to rest in the simple and profound truth that God is sufficient.
The good news is that we are more than conquerors, so let’s choose to live that way!
