While we don’t always have add-ons attached to our names, I wonder how many of us have added things to our identity along the way.
What if the room for improvement isn’t in God’s plan, but in my ability to rest in him?
Even if it’s just for a minute or two, let’s check in with ourselves and see how we’re doing.
The things that we do, if done in faith, hope, and love, aren’t wasted.
Because of Jesus, we don’t have to follow the prideful path of least resistance, but can live a life of productive beauty with him.
Maybe our grief, sorrow, mourning, and heartbreak isn’t for nothing; in fact, maybe it can be used to glorify God.
No matter our skin color or political affiliation, I believe we can all learn a lot from 1 Corinthians 13.
Even when things look bleak, we can trust in God’s word and promises because he is our good and loving father.
The church is the bride and Christ is the groom in this mysterious and beautiful life. But is the church a complementary partner to God?
