The Disobedient Prophet: Chapter 4
We live in a far from perfect world, yet we can choose a different story than Jonah did.
My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
We live in a far from perfect world, yet we can choose a different story than Jonah did.
It’s amazing what small acts of obedience can do in our lives and the lives of others.
I’m grateful that God continues to pursue disobedient people, showing us his unmerited favor and grace.
From Jonah’s story, I believe we can learn a wealth of information about who God is and who we are.
We have an opportunity to build our lives on the Rock, on Jesus, by listening and doing what he says in every area of our lives. May we not let this moment pass us by!
The questions that we ask ourselves can reveal a lot about what we believe.
Fear is having its way in the world right now. But we can choose the way of love, justice, mercy, humility, restoration, and unity.
How are we doing as a global family on mission?
In the Bible, a woman who was overlooked was used by God to change an entire town after an intimate encounter with Jesus. Our time with him is well spent and the faith produced is never wasted.
Love, honor, peace, and grace are all accessible to us today because of the finished work of Jesus.
