I believe that as we understand God’s goodness and our sinfulness more, our worship will move beyond just something we do, to a deeply ingrained part of our lives.
God doesn’t desire for us to go through life making choices that lead to our detriment, but he came to give us abundant life.
God isn’t frustrated or annoyed when we bring the small things of life to him.
We aren’t defined by the things we are doing or have done, but we are defined by who we are in Jesus.
Anna is an incredible example that, in the face of incredible loss, God is still good and still worthy of being praised.
If you want to build something that lasts, spend time pouring into others.
Hannah was an amazing woman who held the things in her life loosely.
If you see something in someone else, even if it is buried deep within them, I encourage you to call it out today.
You have so much to offer the world, don’t wait or hoard your skills or passions, give them freely and watch how the Lord can move in and through you!
I don’t know the character or faith of Zipporah but I do know this: she was able to clearly identify what was important to God and she acted upon it when it mattered the most! I hope and pray that I am able to do the same.
