This has been an incredibly trying year, and yet I still have this kernel of hope underneath it all because our God is so good.
I hope and pray that we will all be able to get out of our comfort zones and lift our eyes to encourage another today.
Have you called something “not for you” because it was outside of your comfort zone?
I pray that we’re each able to embrace, look up from, and invite others into our discomfort today.
Growth rarely happens in the comfort zone, so I encourage you to take a baby step out of it today, and see what happens.
Job’s life reminds us that by loving God and loving others, we’ll fulfill every one of the commandments and so much more.
Your response to direction reveals your view of God.
I am here to give you hope.
Run to God, mess and all, and let him wrap you in his arms and clean you up with eyes full of grace and love. You don’t need to be perfect to come to him, he’ll accept you where you are, even if you have an F-off sign on your face. Just come.
What have we sacrificed on the altar of “fast” and “convenient”?
