My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
Let’s create safe spaces where we can grieve our sins, our losses, and our unmet expectations and see how God heals us!
Anger can be a good thing and we would be wise to heed its warnings when it goes off.
Guilt and shame often get confused for one another but they couldn’t be more different.
Hopefully, we’ll all get a little bit better at paying attention to these warning signs, loving ourselves, and, as a result, we’ll love others even better.
Consider this your official invitation to feel—what will you do with it?
I hope you are well, great, or even stupendous, but if you’re not, that’s okay too. We’re all works in progress and there’s grace for you here.
If you’re in the church, if you’re serving your community, leading groups, or discipling others, The Emotionally Healthy Church could be a valuable resource for you.
No matter the state of your heart, God wants to and can restore it to wholeness, that is Christa’s anthem and she proclaims it boldly.
