I wonder if we can still enjoy God in the midst of the tragedy.
For the past month or so, there’s been one verse, in particular, that keeps springing to my mind.
What we don’t handle today, will need to be dealt with in the future.
As we trim back some of the excess from our physical lives, I believe the same can be done for our hearts and minds.
Let’s put ourselves in the story of Matthew 8 for just a moment to see what we learn about ourselves and the character of God.
Jesus came to take our burdens—even the ones we give ourselves.
