Self-control (or lack thereof) always reveals our priorities.
The world is known for its pride and bravado, but we can choose the way of meekness, just like Jesus did.
When we choose to be kind even though our flesh tells us to do the exact opposite, we are living like Jesus and are partaking in the miraculous.
Thank God that he is patient with me when I am impatient with myself!
There’s very little peace in the world right now and I wonder if it’s because we settle for the appearance of peace instead of true peace that comes from God.
The Holy Spirit is not frivolous or foolish and neither is the fruit that we bear when we are led by him.
What is love?
The fruit of the Spirit is one fruit with nine characteristics. It’s not nine separate types of fruit.
Through Jesus’s redemptive work on the cross, we have been set free from those things that used to entangle us.
