Fruitful: Self-Control

Self-control (or lack thereof) always reveals our priorities.

The world is known for its pride and bravado, but we can choose the way of meekness, just like Jesus did.

Goodness, like all fruit of the Spirit, isn’t something we manufacture on our own.

When we choose to be kind even though our flesh tells us to do the exact opposite, we are living like Jesus and are partaking in the miraculous.

The fruit of the Spirit is one fruit with nine characteristics. It’s not nine separate types of fruit.

Our lives are just like fruit trees: the outside exposes the inside.

I suspect that we might be so focused on the rules in one area of our lives, that we’re missing out on something greater being done.

Let’s be intentional today to listen carefully, weigh our words intentionally, and release them wisely!
