Because of Jesus, we don’t have to follow the prideful path of least resistance, but can live a life of productive beauty with him.
In the midst of immense difficulty, we can pray and cry out to God, casting all of our cares upon him because he cares for us.
Walking humbly with God isn’t pressure-filled. It is embracing who he has called and empowered us to be.
We can easily look like we’re humble, without actually humbly walking with God.
With the Lord, justice, mercy, and humility aren’t opposing ideas, they all work together in harmony.

Today we are putting ourselves in the story to see what it reveals about ourselves, God, and the world as a whole.
I will often spend time wrestling with contradictions and inconsistencies even if I know these things will never come to a resolution. What about you?
The truth is, I can’t be both wise and prideful. If I value wisdom, it’s only natural for me to embrace humility.
What are you afraid of?
I encourage you to list some of your fears out and then begin to trace them back.
