Pray for All People: Day 19
Many people have different perceptions of justice, which has led me to seek out what the Bible has to say on the subject.
My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
Many people have different perceptions of justice, which has led me to seek out what the Bible has to say on the subject.
Lately, I’ve realized that my priorities don’t always match God’s. Let’s pray that we would prioritize the things God cares about.
The Kingdom is imbued with justice and overflows with mercy. And God has called us to live the same way.
Fear is having its way in the world right now. But we can choose the way of love, justice, mercy, humility, restoration, and unity.
We encounter little and big injustices daily and we get to choose how we respond.
We will never be able to perfectly care for others, do justice, love mercy, or walk humbly, but we can become more and more like him each and every day.
Walking humbly with God isn’t pressure-filled. It is embracing who he has called and empowered us to be.
Our view of justice has become one of punishment and payment instead of life-change and restoration of relationship.
With the Lord, justice, mercy, and humility aren’t opposing ideas, they all work together in harmony.
Nehemiah led the people in truth and justice.
Justice looks like Jesus.
