Fruitful: Kindness
When we choose to be kind even though our flesh tells us to do the exact opposite, we are living like Jesus and are partaking in the miraculous.

When we choose to be kind even though our flesh tells us to do the exact opposite, we are living like Jesus and are partaking in the miraculous.
I believe that as we understand God’s goodness and our sinfulness more, our worship will move beyond just something we do, to a deeply ingrained part of our lives.
We never know what one strategic act of kindness can do in someone’s life.
We make grace and love unnecessarily complicated, but Jesus made things simple.
If these nine characteristics are the fruit of the Spirit, the result of his presence and a natural outpouring of his character, that means you can’t pick and choose which ones you want.
Today, let’s go out and share the love of God through whatever means we can!
I firmly believe that everything is connected and one lone event doesn’t just happen, but is informed by a long series of events leading up to it.
Whether your addition is coffee or something stronger, social media or some other technology, or something entirely different, I encourage you to take those things to God.
Run to God, mess and all, and let him wrap you in his arms and clean you up with eyes full of grace and love. You don’t need to be perfect to come to him, he’ll accept you where you are, even if you have an F-off sign on your face. Just come.
God is the best teacher we could possibly hope for, he made us, wrote the test, holds all the answers, and desperately wants us to pass. We are set up for success, if we’re willing to come to him.
