A Look at Nehemiah: What Grieves You?
You might not be able to do that thing you feel called you to do now, but you can begin making a difference through prayer.
My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
You might not be able to do that thing you feel called you to do now, but you can begin making a difference through prayer.
Recently, I had allowed my heart to grow hard again but God doesn’t like to let heart issues fester for long.
So I’m choosing to be obedient even though I prefer my plan over God’s. I’m believing that his direction is so much better than my own direction and I’m submitting to his plans.
I’m not perfect at being present, nor will I ever be, but thankfully that’s not the goal. I’m so grateful that perfection isn’t the standard I’m required to fill because, as much as I hate to admit it, that’s a goal I will never, ever achieve.
Whether believing for miracles is easy or hard for you, this is an encouraging and challenging book that will stretch you outside your comfort zone.
I encourage you to sit with God and ask the questions, listen to what he says, and respond accordingly.
What informs your decision-making? How do you make God-honoring decisions in your everyday life?
Spend some time asking for the Lord’s help today – he is faithful to come through!
What if, instead of just lending our faith to someone with our “amen”, we backed it up with our actions?
Every action we do today can become a habit we take into our future, so for that reason, I believe we should be making positive choices to prepare for the lives we dream of.
