The beauty of wisdom is that it always sounds like Jesus and always leads to truth.
Allowing yourself to be led is a courageous decision, resting is rooted in wisdom, and choosing contentment is a sign of strength.
I encourage you to sit with God and ask the questions, listen to what he says, and respond accordingly.
What would our world look like if we chose to operate from a place of rest instead of powering and striving through every action?
Let’s experiment with the concept of rest and see how our world changes!
The voices of the crowd and even that of some trusted advisors will only go with you so far; there are some places where others just can’t follow.
We think busyness will equal fulfillment when, in reality, fulfillment begins with stillness.
If you feel invisible right now, let me just tell you that God sees you. He knows exactly who you are, where you are, and what you’re struggling with. More than that, he knows your character, your future, and your past. When you’re passed over or someone turns a blind eye toward you, that could potentially be the best gift He could ever give you. In that moment, he’s giving you more time to spend with Him.
