I wonder how many of our interactions and reactions during times of stress, affect the lives of others.
I’m thankful that God (and others) stick with me even when I’m being an angry elf and hold me accountable when I slip back into unhealthy habits.
I’m not perfect at being present, nor will I ever be, but thankfully that’s not the goal. I’m so grateful that perfection isn’t the standard I’m required to fill because, as much as I hate to admit it, that’s a goal I will never, ever achieve.
When you’re under an immense amount of pressure, love can help you relieve some of that burden.
God’s compassion wasn’t just available back in Bible times, but is accessible to us today.
