I wonder if we can still enjoy God in the midst of the tragedy.
Despite my natural aversion to adventure, as I look back on my life, I see many adventures that God has taken me on.
We encounter little and big injustices daily and we get to choose how we respond.
Things are bleak right now, but God is good, he is in control, and he longs for us to draw near to him.
For the past month or so, there’s been one verse, in particular, that keeps springing to my mind.
As we trim back some of the excess from our physical lives, I believe the same can be done for our hearts and minds.
No matter where we fall on the Martha and Mary spectrum, we are loved and accepted by God because of Jesus.
I believe God has called us to live with our eyes open so that we can respond when he speaks and follow where he leads.
When we give what we have to Jesus, he can do more than we could’ve ever asked or imagined.
I wonder if, during difficult times, Jesus marvels at the faith that we display in those little moments as we go about our days.
