A Lifestyle of Rest
We’ve come to believe the lie that rest is an event, not a lifestyle.
My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
We’ve come to believe the lie that rest is an event, not a lifestyle.
The antidote to selfishness might not be selflessness, it might actually be self-love that is rooted in Christ, instead of ourselves.
God is graciously pointing out to me that trusting him is the posture that I should live in.
What would our world look like if we chose to operate from a place of rest instead of powering and striving through every action?
If there are any limiting beliefs or debilitating voices you’re listening to, replace those lies with truth. Let’s only answer to those names that are truly our own.
I encourage you to take some time and cover others in prayer today.
It’s easier to fight when you know someone is fighting alongside you, so let’s prop each other up and trust that God will give us victory.
I encourage you to take a look at your heart and get rid of the things that no longer belong there.
Nothing is too big for God.
What if, as we approach a new year, we focused on how we want to live differently instead of focusing on what we want to do differently?
