My thoughts as I journey through this thing called life.
The things that we do, if done in faith, hope, and love, aren’t wasted.
We’ve come to believe the lie that rest is an event, not a lifestyle.
No matter our jobs, our locations, our aspirations, or our callings, we all play an important role.
While we are no longer under the strict rules of the law, we are hemmed in by grace.
This life is a marathon and not a sprint. And we need to pace ourselves accordingly.
Let’s return our eyes to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, so we can run well the race set before us!

Whether we’re in vocational ministry or not, we can make the choice to be on mission with how we live.
I encourage you to reach out to your community and keep that lifeline of relationship in tact when it’s easier to focus on processes and task lists.
What would our world look like if we chose to operate from a place of rest instead of powering and striving through every action?
